By observing the inner workings of an octopus’s leg or an elephant’s trunk, scientists have created muscles from carbon nanotubes that could one day power machines.
I’ve seen something similar before, and it’s definitely interesting. In the case of helping the sick it could bring great benefits, but the sound of an exoskeleton allowing a soldier to perform superhuman feats… Well, it could all be science fiction, but if it became feasible it would be a scary prospect.
